About Parade Tracker
Parade Tracker is an unofficial index of parade notices published by the Northern Ireland Parades Commission. It copies public fields from the upcoming-parades feed and from each notice page, then draws an approximate walking route from the street names. The Commission website remains the authoritative record.
What is copied
Dates, towns, routes, times, the contentious flag, organisers, bands, participant counts and determination wording are taken from the Commission. Determination text is quoted verbatim. This site does not paraphrase a determination and does not embed the Commission website.
What is estimated
Route lines are reconstructed from OpenStreetMap street names inside the town, then connected with a public walking router. A solid line means most names matched and the router returned one continuous path. A dashed line is a partial match. A dot means the names could not be placed confidently. Landmarks that are not streets may be looked up, and an optional language model can suggest a gazetteer query, which is rejected if it falls outside the town.
History and calendar
The history lists each notice when it was first stored, in London time, and notes a later change of date, time, or route. The calendar shows one month at a time and can be limited to a single town. Nothing here is a legal notice of a parade.
